Like a thief in the night, you come at the most unexpected moment,
Silently galloping and stealing deep-seated and hidden memories,
Yet I seek you.

The game of thrones between the heart and the mind,
A battle where nobody emerges as the king,
Only death can claim and hold right to the scepter.

The most deafening phenomenon,
An unwelcomed invitation,
I hear what I should hear and sometimes more.

The more I fight you,
The more powerful you become,
A continuing truce you offer.

I may not be able to drown you
but I find solace in this...
I can ignore you.

SILENCE, I do not need you as my foe.

                 Friendster Exporter is taking too long to download my blogs, so I decided to just do this the old way, that is to cut and paste. I guess my entries therein need to find a new home now. I wonder if friendster is about to close.   Anyway, here are some of my entries there:

What else do I need to show you to let you know how much I love you?
You see, rarely do you  think of  me when you're happy,
I feel special whenever you're lonely not because of your misery but because that's an opportunity for you to remember me...to call on me.

Eyes locked,
Smile contained,
Dancing to the game with rules unlaid.

Conversation sans the word,
Touching despite the distance,
A kiss sealed the ghost agreement.

Oh the melody!
Yet only the hearts hear,
Mine and yours...
Ours alone.

Soar into the abyss of make-believe,
Trapped into his beautiful mendacity,
Crowned as his queen,
Into his trap you fell.

You are but a lady,
Unprecendented you are not,
Solely you never were.

Knowledge evaded you,
Shackle may be a ghost,
Yet it bound you.

Truth revealed,
coated with more deception,
Only the fibber knows.

The last drop of sand is near,
Beware!
Appeal to your naivete would be the lamentable bastard's recourse,
Bite and say farewell to your soul.

                        Many people who haven't heard about the movie would say "Why would I watch that? The title in itself is already stupid!"  However, I am not one of those people who judge other people, things, books and movies mainly based on their titles or looks for that matter.

                        Not only once have I glanced at my watch, mobile, computer or any other mechanism which shows the time and it's 11:11.   It made me wonder if there's any significance to this or if the same is purely coincidental.

             It is only today that I bothered to search about it and found out that there are several beliefs and explanation regarding the 11:11 phenomenon!

             One explanation that captured my attention the most is the belief that this 11:11 prompt is the Spirit Guardians or the Angels' way of using our innate ability for pattern recognition... to let us know that they are just around.

            I am comforted by this discovery.   I am not as religious as the rest but I do have faith and I also believe that somebody or something is protecting me there somewhere.

            I remember telling somebody that when the time comes and he sees 11:11 then that's the time he should remember me.  I do not think he would even recall me saying that.haha

             I'm still glad with the idea that if ever  I 'll chance upon seeing this particular time again, I know that I am being guarded against harm and that someone or something is watching over me.

                Okay, I'm not schizo or anything (although some people I know accuse me to be one.hehe) ,but I do have several networking and blog sites.

                   When I am bored or have nothing else to do, I spend hours over the net.   This also a form of a "wholesome escape" for me during those moments that I don't want to think about certain things.

                     I am also not as expressive as other people who can talk about anything with just about anybody.   It is only when I'm comfortable with a person do I share whatever is in my mind (and heart, and liver, etc...etc..haha).  Yes, I can be friendly but trust is another subject altogether.

              These people can only be counted with my fingers.   Yes there were some who I made a part of this circle but who still betrayed me in the end.  However unfortunate that may be, I just have to deal with the turning of the wheel of life.   As the adage goes "You win some, you lose some".

                   Anyway, at first I wondered why some people choose tumblr over other blogsites.   Now, I realize that its format is convenient for specific needs.   In my case, I decided to open a tumblr account also because in tumblr  one can post shorter entries (I consider it an in between of blogspot and twitter).  Plus there, you can also upload mp3s, which I'm not able to do here in blogspot (an external widget is required before one can do this here).

              I still love blogspot though, but you can expect me to post anything which comes to my mind in my tumblr account.    So do visit "the other side of me"  here .

                Happy browsing!=^-^=

Warning signs that something is amiss:

1.   Cleans nonstop until exhausted;

2.    Doesn't sleep or wakes up every 2 hours;

3.   If she does sleep, she oversleeps and is capable of doing the same for the entire day for several days;

4.   Lack of appetite;

5.   Before, she drinks beer  and she drinks almost everyday (at least a bottle) and she smokes at least half a pack of cigarettes a day (more when she drinks).   Good thing these vices are gone for  more than a year now;

6.   Does M.A.D. (only her closest friends know what these letters stand for);

7.  Shops or at least buys something (even if  it's merely a pen);

8.   Vanishes, so to speak.   You cannot force her to go out with you.  There were even times that she did not communicate with anybody at all;

9.    Writes.   Anywhere.    If she does not have a paper at hand, she writes even on tissue/s just to pour out anything eating her up at the moment.  Now, she usually writes online although there are certain things (very private ones) that are kept in her journal;

10.   When she's angry, it's either she keeps it to herself and not talk to the person at fault ever or she tells that guilty person immediately but with no sugarcoating, that if that person cannot take it, he/she would wish that the world would just swallow him/her at that very instant.

            If you see any of these signs, try to stay away from her.   If you are the type who fears the truth , do not dare ask her.   Kudos to those who were and are able to make her spill out whatever may be wrong at the moment and who still stayed despite the same.   She extends her gratitude and heartfelt thanks.

          If you believe in something so hard, the possibility of it becoming true is not remote.

           It all started with a plan probably caused by the effects of T-ice.   The group had their usual get together at their favorite tambayan at Legaspi St., D.C.   Topics during these hang outs would often range from the intellectual to the nonsensical.

          That night our friend brought her sister, Cat , to unwind with the group.   Knowing that she took the Bar Exam last year, we asked her when the results would be coming out,etc,etc.   Since she graduated as one of the cum laudes in her batch she was also considered as "bar topnotcher bet" by the school.   Thus, the people who were gathered that night were so positive that we made out a plan as to what we'll do on the day the results would come out and our friend's sister is indeed  part of the top ten list.

        One lawyer friend who's also in media asked permission to have an exclusive coverage if ever Cat does make it on the list.  As to the others, costumes and dresses to wear were discussed with the idea that they'll be at the background  on that day Cat will  be interviewed.  A joke which was half-meant nonetheless.

       Lo and behold,March 17, 2011 PM, the results came out and Cat indeed made it to the top 10 list and landed as rank number four!  -- Click this to see the list of the 2010 bar topnotchers

              Talk about being blessed!  She is indeed deserving of the same.  That girl is not only smart and good looking, she's also gifted with a good heart .   But the best of it all, she is far from being assuming.

                 When the news already spread that she was number four, she even refused to believe the same despite many people already calling her over the phone and congratulating her.

         Our lawyer friend from the media immediately asked if she could be interviewed, but low key as she is, Cat politely refused the same .   If others were in her position, surely, without batting their eyelashes, cameras would probably be surrounding them by now and they would be basking on the attention.

                        All in all, this has been a very overwhelming day.  I'm so glad that most of the people I wanted to pass the said exam made it!  To top it all , Cat and her family received a great blessing which also benefitted us.   Her sister was so happy that we were treated to a buffet meal and a videoke session afterwards.  I'm pretty sure this is just an initial celebration.

           So congrats again Cat!  You are inspiration and I'm so proud of you!

Me with the 2010 Bar Exam Number 4.  Not any of us brought a camera so this was taken with just a phone's cam, hence the lousy resolution.-March 17, 2011

Latest Update:

                     Finally Cat was convinced by her sister to do an interview exclusively for GMA.  Please visit AdDLAW's page in Facebook.  The interview was recorded and uploaded by Zen.

A fleeting creation,
Embraced by the ghost of fiction,
Labored by the scent of void,
I hold you but not.

Belief in the intangent,
Faith in the undefined,
Miniscule yet omniscient,
The alpha and the omega.

Loathe I detest,
Love I romance,
Nay to never,
Infinity to forever.

Chained but unshackled,
The melody of the singing of the mute,
Heart for vision,
Then all finally became one.

           Sundays usually mean staying at home for me.   Lately though, I've been so busy that weekdays and weekends seem to have lost their distinction.  I cannot even remember the last time I've been to the movies.

         The  kids told me they're going to watch a movie about a chameleon today so I checked the  movie schedule online.  When I saw that the lead role had Johnny Depp as the voice-over, I decided to go with them and forget about my original plan for today.

        The movie was not only entertaining but it depicted reality as well.   It talks about courage, believing in one's self, unselfishness, the effects of greed and  most of all the importance of protecting the environment.   This is not solely for kids.   This is a must-see movie for the  kids-at-heart too.

        Kids-- they are one of the most amazing beings that emerged out of this planet, don't you agree?     Their mere presence can bring joy to anybody.  Yes, they may be annoying at times but they are given the gift of getting away with it.

       They do things both intentionally and unintentionally which can make us cry, laugh, etc...

       I think I had gas after watching the following videos :

and lastly, how I wish all of us could laugh this hard!

              Sun:  "Good morning my dear.  Time to get up and remove that morning glory in your eyes!"

         This was how my day started.   I was greeted and embraced by the warmth of the sun.

          I suddenly remembered a conversation I had with a friend.  During one of our "tambays", we discussed about the law of attraction.   No, not about the X and the Y attraction (but we did tackle that too!) but more on inviting what we want to have in life . ...that we should think and believe accordingly so that the things we want and the dreams we have would actually happen.

               So everyday I would try to put things here which I am thankful for.   This is also my way of showing my appreciation to the man above.   For the non-believers, consider this as a means to see the beauty of simple or even big things around us.

Time keeps on ticking away,
It’s always running away.

We are all our own devil.
We are all our own devil.
And we make this world our hell.
